Fuzhou Changle International Airport officially opened on June 23, 1997, and in 2015, the airport was positioned as a gateway hub airport in the country's "Belt and Road" strategy. The airport has a 3600 meters long runway, the tarmac area of 300,000 square meters, the total area of the terminal is 137,000 square meters, the air cargo terminal building area of 18,000 square meters, the airport can take off and land B747-400 and other large aircraft, the annual passenger throughput support capacity of 13 million passengers.
